Decorative Jar
![]() |
You can use polymer clay to turn a plain jar into a great decoration. In this tutorial I make a pumpkin jar, but you can use the clay to make a variety of styles for the lid and glass, if you use your imagination. Experiment with the clay that wraps around the jar and the clay that goes on the lid. I have made heart and star embellishments and a bow for the lid. |

Paper Mache Frame

Paper mache frames are great for non-traditonal size photographs and artwork because you can completely customize the frame's length and width. You also determine the frame's color. Paper mache frames help reduce waste by using recycled cardboard and paper. |

Homemade Wine

Making your own wine is a cheaper, constructive way to get quality wines, and the process is very simple if you can wait three months. I do not claim to be an expert and take no responsibility for the outcome of your wine based on this recipe, but I have used it several times and yielded, in my opinion and according to others, quality results. |
Paper Mache Angel Tree Topper

Use junk paper, a paper cup, and a lid to create a Christmas angel tree topper. These little angels are fairly easy to create and make great gifts and decorations for the holiday season; not to mention, they help reduce waste by recycling. |
